Voices of Justice: Using Your Voice

The evening will feature a practical, community-focused conversation led by Tampa City Councilmember Bill Carlson, Clay Hollis of Tucker/Hall, education advocate Damaris Allen, and veteran journalist Tom Scherberger, who will serve as moderator. Together, they will discuss how citizens can responsibly and effectively engage with public officials, participate in civic life, and advocate constructively for issues important to their families and neighborhoods. Participants will also receive a copy of our Citizen Engagement Guide, a resource created to help residents better understand local government, communicate effectively with elected leaders, participate in public meetings, and connect with civic and advocacy groups.
