Tori Amos

Tori Amos’ last two albums have dealt with personal pain and strife. Her latest, Ocean to Ocean, deals with how she handled the pandemic, and the 2019 death of her mother, who had a stroke that heavily inspired the 59-year-old singer-songwriter’s record before that, Native Invader. On a lighter note, her longtime author buddy Neil Gaiman (“Coraline,” “American Gods’’) and Margaret Atwood (“The Handmaid’s Tale.” Jeez, pick up a book, willya?!) were among a number of fellow authors featured in a graphic novel telling 24 stories inspired by Amos’ debut Little Earthquakes. Her Father’s Day stop at Ruth Eckerd Hall is her first in Clearwater—and all of Tampa Bay—since a 2014 birthday gig in the same room. Arizona folk outfit Tow’rs opens.
