The OGs

You may know us as Groove Merchant, but this will be our first show under the new name The OGs, short for The Organ Grinder Syndicate. Same hard-swinging organ trio: yours truly on guitar, Andrew on Hammond, and Eric on drums, with the very talented Nicole Hoffer on vocals. Expect a soulful, groove-centered mix rooted in the classic organ trio tradition, with jazz, blues, classic soul, and a few Beatles, Tower of Power, and Hendrix-inspired detours. Add a good drink and Chewy’s classic cigar-bar atmosphere, and it’s going to be an unforgettable night.
