Sit A Spell Conversations X Pa'Lante Series: Black Voices in the Humanities

Through her stories, writer, lecturer and living history performer, Dr. Martha Bireda presents a narrative which demonstrates the intellect, courage, determination, strength, ingenuity, grace, and dignity of the African American. Bireda is also the Director of the Blanchard House Museum of African American History and Culture of Charlotte County in Punta Gorda. Birenda will be in conversation with Patrick Arthur Jackson and Silk Jazmyne Hindus. Jackson is Manager of Education, Outreach & Program Design at the Woodson. Hindus is a book reviewer, essayist and fiction writer.
