Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening Weekend

A two-day Grand Opening Weekend celebration featuring family-friendly activities, youth sports programming, live entertainment, a community vendor village, and interactive experiences for all ages. Free and open to the public, the Grand Opening Weekend will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony (2/28 11AM), youth sports competitions and clinics, a family fun zone, mascot appearances from Tampa Bay’s pro sports teams, a community vendor village with local partners, and a park-wide Passport Station Experience that that encourages guests to visit multiple activity zones, collect limited-edition swag, and enter a bonus sweepstakes.
