Though the band is technically full of Tampa natives, seeing Parrotfish at the 2022 iteration of Gasparilla Music Festival was a great surprise. The boys reside in Nashville, and have been dropping EP after EP in the last year. The most recent one, dropped two weeks ago, is built around “The Implication,” a nearly four-minute, contemporary-composed rant about how hard it is to keep your shit together. —Josh Bradley</b>
