Meet the artists!
Sallie Hackett Brown and Theresa Segal both use relics of bygone days to create their respective bodies of work, and exalt that which has been forgotten.
A St Petersburg-based artist for more than two decades, Hackett Brown specializes in exceptional found-object sculptures created from keenly-selected farming, industrial, or household implements.
St Augustine-based photographer Theresa Segal exhibits works from her Hidden Lightner series, in which she was given access to the Lightner Museum’s eerie storage areas. There she staged contemplative still life and interiorscape images, devising romantic scenes of partial decay.
