Kirsten Hines is a Coconut Grove, Florida-based writer, wildlife photographer, and conservationist. Her aim is to inspire conservation action through her personalized storytelling highlighted by her photography. She has authored or co-authored seven books, the latest being Wild Florida: An Animal Odyssey. Others include Attracting Birds to South Florida Gardens, Birds of Fairchild, and Key Biscayne (all Florida Author and Publisher Association President’s Book Award winners), and a three-book series on Florida’s national parks, as well as the forthcoming Birds of Florida: A Photographic Guide and Recovering Caribbean Nature. Kirsten’s images have been featured in multiple publications.
