Mandy Keen: MAGGIE

A trash-dwelling fly escapes the landfill and attempts womanhood. Blending clown, physical comedy, and theatrical absurdity, MAGGIE follows a fly-woman as she struggles through a strange metamorphosis in search of love, purpose, and belonging. Written and performed by Mandy Keen, MAGGIE premiered at The Commodore before making its Los Angeles premiere at the 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival, where it earned praise from audiences and reviewers for its originality, fearless physical comedy, immersive audience interaction, and surprising emotional depth. Part character comedy, and part unlikely love story, MAGGIE invites audiences into a chaotic, hilarious, and unexpectedly moving journey.
