When: Thursdays-Sundays, 8-10 p.m. Continues through May 7 2023
April 20- May 7, Girls in the Boat is the true story of female U.S. Olympic rowers who battled for gender equality in sports and became the most-winning sports team in American history. Playwright Alice Austen said that the characters are all different, with different political views and reasons for rowing. "This is not a saccharine, girly play. It's a play about real people. Rowing is the ultimate team sport. You have to work together all the time. You can't sort of go off on your own and be a star, it's the boat."
