Farm-to-No-Food Waste

Food Waste Prevention Week (April 7 - 13th) is a national effort to bring attention to the need and strategies to reduce our individual and collective food waste. Join Homegrown Hillsborough, City of Tampa Solid Waste, Hillsborough County Solid Waste, Renuable, and other community partners at Meacham Urban Farm during their weekly Saturday market to learn various ways you can prevent food waste. Community organizations will have information tables set up and will be ready to answer your questions. You'll have the opportunity to purchase local produce, learn about local efforts, and participate in a "Food Waste Prevention" scavenger hunt
