Fine dining restaurant Ebbe has been quietly occupying the former Mole Y Abuela building at 1202 N Franklin St. for the past 7 months, and its first event of the year is right around the corner. Ebbe hosts two installations of its exclusive Italian tasting menu on Tuesday, Jan. 23 and Wednesday, Jan 24. The only reservations available range from 7-7:30 p.m. and can be made on OpenTable.com. In addition to Chef Vollmer, Italy-born Giorgo Diana, Europe-based Chef Mans Backlund, and Chef James Gilardi, who has worked at Ebbe since its debut last year. Both Diana and Buckland have been regular participants in Vollmer’s worldwide Chef’s Dinner series. Guests can expect over a dozen Italian-inspired courses alongsode wine pairings.
