Book Launch Party for Wonderful Thunderful Rain

Local author Donna Parrey celebrates the release of her latest children’s book. She invites families to hear her read Wonderful Thunderful Rain at 3:30, 4:30, and 5:30pm and enjoy some arts and crafts. The story features a young boy who comforts his dog when noisy storms blow in. He learns that Wonderful Thunderful Rain is part of a cycle that helps the earth provide us with nutritious food. A cameo illustration of our favorite suspendered weatherman is a highlight. The first 50 book purchasers receive a free 4”x6” photo of Denis Phillips with the author. (He's unable to attend.)
