For the first time since 2019, the James Beard Foundation—a nationally-recognized culinary institution—is making its return to Tampa Bay. On Saturday, Oct. 2, Hyde Park restaurant Willa’s (1700 W Fig St.) will host the foundation’s Beard by the Bay dinner, a culmination of the best local chefs, mixologists and sommeliers aimed at raising money for the food-focused nonprofit and to “contribute to the development of the next generation of great American Chefs.”
