Art Walk Festivities at GCAA ArtWorks

GCAA ArtWorks celebrates St. Pete’s Art Walk with Demonstrations, Door Prizes and a 50/50 raffle. You can also see the current exhibition, “Summer Heat” featuring 22 local artists. Carole Rosefelt will show the process of Alcohol Ink painting and Marie Cummings will demonstrate Collage techniques. “Summer Heat”, a juried exhibition resulting from an Open Call to artists, continues. This sizzling show features 22 artists whose diverse techniques make a fascinating collection. Some of the media used in the show includes cold wax, collage, pastel, screenprint, encaustic, photography, even “trash”. Traditional oil and acrylic paintings are spectacular, as well.
